Our Precision Engineering division specialises in the design and manufacture of pneumatic and other flow control technologies for applications where precision, speed and reliability are essential in the life sciences, energy, food and beverage, rail and automotive sectors. While our Critical Engineering division
is a world–leading provider of flow control solutions that enable vital energy and process industries to operate safely, cleanly, reliably and more efficiently. And our Hydronic Engineering division engineers innovative solutions to optimise indoor climate comfort and energy efficiency of waterborne heating & cooling systems.
Precision, Critical and Hydronic Engineering programmes
Our two-year Graduate Programme in the Precision, Critical and Hydronic Engineering divisions of our business offers a uniquely diverse experience. You’ll undertake different rotations, getting exposure to a range of exciting projects and locations around the world. You’ll work on live projects, take on real responsibility and experience the product lifecycle end-to-end. All of which will help you build your long-term engineering career with us.
Your journey with IMI will typically start and end in your home country, but you’ll also get to experience at least one six-month placement outside the country. During your time on the programme we’ll offer you a wide range of demanding but rewarding experiences. In short, we’ll equip you to make an impact –then we’ll give you the opportunity to follow it through and take it further.
What we’re looking for :
Final year students / recent graduates applying to the Critical Engineering programme must have a Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
A demonstrable passion for engineering innovation and a résumé that demonstrates your previous work experience: it could be paid (such as a placement or internship) or voluntary (extra-curricular activity or volunteering/charity work)
Keen to build a career on the international stage –you’ll undertake at least one international placement
Excellent written and spoken English –the application form and interview will be conducted in English
